An Arabic teleprompter that reads right.

Cuemark is a Windows teleprompter built for Arabic as well as English and French: right-to-left scripts, cue marks that follow Arabic sentences, and on-device Arabic captions and feedback.

Why most teleprompters struggle with Arabic

Many teleprompter apps were built for left-to-right text. Arabic scripts end up with punctuation on the wrong side, numbers in odd places, broken letter joining, or lines that scroll the wrong way. Mixed scripts, where an Arabic sentence includes an English product name or a number, are even harder.

What Cuemark does differently

  • Right-to-left from the start. The editor, the prompter and the captions all lay out Arabic correctly, including mixed Arabic, French and English.
  • Cue rules for Arabic. Pause, stress and pace marks follow Arabic sentence structure, not English rules applied to Arabic text.
  • Arabic transcription on your PC. Captions, automatic cuts and delivery feedback work on Arabic takes, without uploading your recording.
  • French too. Cuemark handles French elisions and punctuation, for creators who switch between French and Arabic.

Built for creators in Morocco, the Gulf, Egypt and the Levant, and for French speakers

Cuemark is made by a team that records in Arabic and French itself. Modern Standard Arabic works today; dialects such as Darija are on the roadmap and need real-world testing before we promise them.
